While 1 in 10 people have a phobia of flying, if you are one of them I can guarantee you that  you are not alone. What’s more, often the biggest hurdle is confronting the matter in the first place, so by simply visiting this website you’ve taken the first step towards overcoming your fear.

As The Flying Psychotherapist, I have over 23 years of flying experience all over the world dealing with all types of cultures and populations of people. My training as a Flight Attendant goes beyond just being on an airplane for the passenger’s safety or for the beverage service. The most important part of being a Flight Attendant is that we are the first responder under any circumstance that happens on the aircraft. From responding to a passenger having a heart attack, choking, vomiting or even death to the passengers with fear of flying, our role is to respond immediately to any emergency on or with the airplane.

My mission as The Flying Psychotherapist, is to combine both of my professions, being a Flight Attendant for a commercial airline and a Clinical Psychotherapist. As a pyschotherapist I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE), a therapy that helps people deal with trauma.

My goal is to teach you some of the beauty that there is to being on an airplane, and that you do not have to fear not having control of the aircraft because the pilots are well-trained professionals that are prepared to deal with any situation that may come their way.

In my last two decades of flying, I have had total confidence in all of the pilots I have flown with because I know that they too have loved ones on the ground, and therefore they would not get on an aircraft with a serious mechanical issue and  jeopardize their own lives in any way.

As you may have already heard, flying is one of the safest forms of transportation, yet it is the one mode of transportation feared the most. I am here to show you the BEAUTY THAT CAN FLY IN YOU just by opening yourself up to it. We can work on this goal together. I will be with you every step of the way.
